Planning for Success Class

On 13 September 2013 - Luvuyo Ntshebe completed his third "Planning for Success" class and we handed out certificates.  Students graduating included  Chowayile Hlhoza, age 20,  Anthony Buyolweth Besha, age 37 and Mzwanele Mxenge,  age 27.

April 22, 2012 - Presenting our First PEF Fireside
We started our PEF work by presenting a fireside in Kwa Magxaki Ward, the largest wards in Port Elizabeth Stake.   Motherwell Branch was started by President Neku who is a member of this ward.   The teacher, Luvuyo Ntshebe is an engineer and this is the third Planning for Success Class he has taught.  He is an outstanding teacher.
Latando will be our last  "Planning for Success" Student.
Currently attending NMU he wants to be sure he has funds.

This young man is a second year student at Nelson Mendela University.  As he needs PEF to continue his studies and as there is no teacher for Lorraine and Port Elizabeth Wards Tom has agreed to teach the four lessons while I am teaching Institute.

We have had two students apply for PEF loans out of the seventeen students who took the class and received certificates.  Both were denied because the applications were not filled out correctly.

We have high hopes for Chowayile Hlhoze who is studying to be an engineer.  She has a dream to start a company to conserve energy by using solar power.

Mzwanele Mxenga is a returned missionary who wants to study law.  He called a week before classes at NMU started saying he needed a PEF loan.  The application process takes about three months so he will have to wait until next year.

Latando is a returned missionary on scholarship at NMU.  He needs a PEF loan to complete his studies.  If we only help these three young people our time in Africa will be well spent.
