Yesterday I got a big surprise. Jan Thorpe sent me five new books: The Triumph of Zion, Visions of Glory, Spirit of Fire and Following the Light of Christ into His Presence by LDS author John M. Pontius and The Harbinger by Jonathan Cahn. I've just finished A Pale Horse by Wendy Alec and needed some new reading material. I'm really excited to have these books about the Second Coming. You can't get this kind of material in South Africa.
Monday night Phillip Clark committed to going to church every week if we will drive him home on alternate Sundays while his wife works. P.E. ward starts at 8:00 a.m. Motherwell begins at 10:00.
On May 9th we attended Correlation Meeting with the missionaries and Motherwells group leader. Elder S. and I have just finished drawing ties and pockets on the paper missionary shirts that our Lorraine Elders folded. Elders Tuckett & De Carvalho will hand out the favours on Sunday. We will attend District Meeting tomorrow at 10:30 a.m. and a new planning for success class at Kwanmagxaki at six p.m. We must inspect four flats on Saturday morning as there are transfers on Wednesday, May 15th and two of our elders are going home.
